Making the Best of What is Going On in the World

So, recently in the news we have seen a bunch of stuff going on in the world that isn't exactly positive. We see all of these terrorist attacks, nuclear threats, tension between countries, hurricanes, and many other things. When I turn on the news, there is always something negative. Now let's just address it, there will always be something negative on the news. That's what keeps people coming back to their news station. But it's your job to accept that there is bad stuff going on and for you to try your best to help. Now someone may ask, "How can I help? I'm just one person". Well, you may just think that you are one small person but it takes one person to start something big. Then there may be those instances where you aren't able to help physically but you can help spiritually. You can help by praying for the people that are going through hard times and for the protection of everyone in every country. No matter what your religion is, pray. It will reinstall hope in others that are in trouble.

You Can Do This!

We have all been in a situation where you don't feel like you can move. Sometimes you can not feel supported or just feel stuck. Granted, it is hard to get out of this trap, but you have to know that you are your biggest cheerleader. No one else can define you but you. If you want to be known as someone who is depressing and you put that out there, you are going to be perceived as depressing and not many people want to be around that. Now, what if that is just my personality? Well, I'm sorry (but not sorry) to say this but a lot of people don't want to absorb negative energy. People tend to absorb other peoples personalities when they are around them. So if you hang around positive people, you will be more happy and satisfied whereas if you are around people who are sad all of the time, they will drag you down and lower your happiness. Be around people that make you feel good. Don't be around people who make you feel like you're nothing because that only lowers your confidence. I know sometimes that you can feel alone but trust me, you aren't. There are people that love and support you. Now if you say, there is no one that loves or supports me, you are just insulting the people who have been your friends and family from day one. So never try to say that. If you do, catch yourself and say, "Yes, I do have people that love and support me they are (insert name here)." Also, think positive. When a person thinks positive, you succeed and do better in a lot of things. When you have something you want to do, don't sit on the sidelines and let that opportunity pass. That just proves that you have already given up. One thing that I love to do when I am feeling terrible, is to listen to music. Listen to music that makes you feel good inside. I would recommend listening to something that lifts you up. Not something sad that you are relating to. What I am trying to say, is to listen to something you can relate to but is uplifting. If you are having trouble accomplishing something and you want to be better, I am here to tell you that YOU CAN DO THIS! You can do anything you set your mind to! Have a nice weekend!

Feeling Invisible and Dealing with It

When you feel invisible you don't feel acknowledged or special. Personally, I am going through this and I wanted to tell you that it gets better. Honestly, you don't need the people that are excluding you! The only person you should mainly have by your side is God. God will always be there, trust me. It may not seem like that, but he is listening to you. Just sit down in a quiet space, close your eyes and meditate. Trust me, it will be worth it.
