Have You Been Told What You Believe is Wrong?

In my past posts, I have talked about being proud of who you are. In this post, I will be talking about how you should be proud of your religion. As a Roman Catholic, I hear a lot of comments that are rude and offensive towards my religion. Unfortunately, I did not have the courage to stand up for myself and say that what they were saying was wrong. But now, after some serious contemplation and some talks with my Mama, I have grown to realize that I should be proud of what I believe. So the point of this post is to tell you to be proud of your religion and to not make the same mistake I did. Don't let anyone push you around because of what you believe. Because believe me, standing up will boost your confidence and it will make you stand even firmer in your beliefs. 

Be Proud to Be You!

In today's society, we are told who we should be and what we should like. In stores, you will see these magazines saying, "How to Be Beautiful', "How to Impress Him/or Her", or other "How to's". These articles, are some of the reasons we become insecure about ourselves. If you want to impress someone, just be yourself! If the person you are trying to impress doesn't appreciate you for you then they are not worth your time! If you want to be beautiful, do what makes you feel beautiful! You don't need a magazine to tell you how you should look. Being unique is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Without unique people, the world would be boring and dull! So never be persuaded to think that how you look or think doesn't match today's "standards". Because someone out there admires you for standing up and being you!
