"When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us."

Is There Shame in Feeling Embarrassed?
Feeling embarrassed is one of the most awkward and most humbling emotions of all. But one thing all of us forget is that we ALL make mistakes. We have been told this our whole lives but it is true and it is something hard to live by. So to answer the question in the title, my answer is no. True, there is that feeling of regret and the little voice in your head asking you, "Why did I do that"? But, none of us are perfect people and embarrassment only makes us more human. Now, what are some good remedies to help ease the embarrassment? Well, here are some tips:
1. Breathe: Block out everyone/thing that is laughing or looking at you with that "Why did he/she do that" expression. Focus on your breathing.
2. Focus: Focus on the activity at hand and keep going. When you keep going you are least likely to make more mistakes plus it looks a part of what you just did. When someone gawks and says, "OOPS, I messed up", not only does it cause the people observing to think that, that wasn't part of the plan but it also makes things more hectic. So try to remain calm and focus on your main goal.
3. Own it- Own your mistake. Like I said, mistakes make us human. Without mistake's life would be boring. So don't put it off on someone else, own it and roll with it. Plus, with mistakes comes experience. So, with that experience, you can pass down your own advice to future generations.
4. Let it out- I have said this so many times but, it is so true! If you just feel like crying about your mistake, it is okay to let it out. Crying only RELIEVES stress. But, I personally would suggest doing it in private, carry out your action at hand, try to think of the positives afterwards, then crash. But I would also recommend talking to a friend or family member you trust to get it off your mind.
5. Learn from it- Observe this mistake, think how you can make it better, and carry out this plan. It is an obvious answer but sometimes we overthink it and it may seem a little too obvious of a solution.
6. Think about the positives- Every mistake has its positives and negatives. But try your best to find the positives. I am not saying that every mistake should be positive and happy go lucky but I am saying that it helps ease the humiliation
<---We have had those moments.
<---You just have to "Let it Go".

Frustrated With Work or Homework?
Oh, boy! How I can empathize with this subject! I bet you that most of us have had those moments where you just want to throw your work on the ground and scream. Well, as usual, I will be giving you tips on how to deal with the most frustrating work you have to do.
Tip #1: Just let the scream out- We all need to get it out of our system so, let your inner Tarzan out.
Tip #1.5: Scream into a pillow. You may have neighbors or people living in your house/or apartment; so I am pretty sure they would appreciate the scream be muffled in a pillow.
Tip #2: Cool down and take a break- If you are that frustrated from your work take a break and come back to it later. Do some other work that is not frustrating or something else productive. Or, you could just sit and think.
Tip #3: Take a deep breath and get back to work- (I know I am guilty of this) But try not to procrastinate away from your work. The more you procrastinate the more you will build up this whole thought about how terrible the work you have to do is. So, get back to work as soon as possible (after your scream and break of course).
Tip #4: If your work is TERRIBLE take breaks in between- After you have done your scream and break, work on your stuff a little more and then take a fifteen-minute break. Your brain will thank you for not frying it.
Just remember to take this in baby steps (like I always say). Try to remain calm and move forward, and while you're at it STAY POSITIVE! :)

Dealing with the Disappointment in Life
As we all know is that disappointment is one of the WORST feelings to have. Disappointment also includes rejection (depends) and that's an even worse feeling to have. Here are some strategies on dealing with disappointment:
1. Figure out what's disappointing you.
2. Once you figure that out, try finding a way to help or soothe the "pain" of disappointment.
3. Once you have cooled down find something else that will even out that feeling of disappointment.
4. Face the disappointment head on and accept it.
I know this is an extremely short blog post but I just thought I should be straightforward in this blogpost. Stay positive! :)
