Oh, boy! How I can empathize with this subject! I bet you that most of us have had those moments where you just want to throw your work on the ground and scream. Well, as usual, I will be giving you tips on how to deal with the most frustrating work you have to do.
Tip #1: Just let the scream out- We all need to get it out of our system so, let your inner Tarzan out.
Tip #1.5: Scream into a pillow. You may have neighbors or people living in your house/or apartment; so I am pretty sure they would appreciate the scream be muffled in a pillow.
Tip #2: Cool down and take a break- If you are that frustrated from your work take a break and come back to it later. Do some other work that is not frustrating or something else productive. Or, you could just sit and think.
Tip #3: Take a deep breath and get back to work- (I know I am guilty of this) But try not to procrastinate away from your work. The more you procrastinate the more you will build up this whole thought about how terrible the work you have to do is. So, get back to work as soon as possible (after your scream and break of course).
Tip #4: If your work is TERRIBLE take breaks in between- After you have done your scream and break, work on your stuff a little more and then take a fifteen-minute break. Your brain will thank you for not frying it.
Just remember to take this in baby steps (like I always say). Try to remain calm and move forward, and while you're at it STAY POSITIVE! :)
